What is DS3231S Chip?

 The DS3231S is a highly accurate real-time clock (RTC) integrated circuit (IC) developed by Maxim Integrated, now part of Analog Devices. This chip is renowned for its precision timekeeping capabilities, thanks to its built-in temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and crystal. The DS3231S maintains time with exceptional accuracy over a wide temperature range, offering a drift of less than ±2 parts per million (ppm) from 0°C to +40°C, which translates to about one minute per year.
