What is IR2103 Chip?

 The IR2103 is a high- and low-side MOSFET driver designed by Infineon Technologies (formerly International Rectifier). It is used to drive N-channel MOSFETs in high-voltage power conversion applications, such as motor drives, DC-DC converters, and inverters. 

 

Key Features:

  • Dual MOSFET Driver: Drives both high-side and low-side MOSFETs in an H-bridge configuration.
  • High-Side Voltage Rating: Can handle high-side voltage up to 600V.
  • Strong Drive Capability: Capable of providing high peak current (up to 2A) for efficient switching.
  • Low-Side Output: Delivers 4A peak current to the low-side MOSFET.
